Socialisation and early basic training is the best way to make sure your puppy gets the best possible start in life

Puppy School is for puppies between 8 and 16 weeks and is the crucial time to teach your puppy how to become a confidant, well adjusted member of your family.

Puppy school is fun for everyone and some of the things we’ll cover off during our classes include –

• Interact with other puppies in a controlled environment and learn those all important social skills.
• Toilet Training! 
• How to deal with Jumping, Biting and Nipping.
• I’ll teach the kids how to cope with an over excited puppy.
• Tips and tricks on how to use positive reinforcement commands for come, sit, stay, down and basic lead walking.
• Things to be aware of to ensure your puppy will learn to be confident and independent.

Dog On It training will teach you how to communicate with your puppy using positive reinforcement methods.

Puppy Schools are run at the following locations on the Northern Beaches. 

• Collaroy Vets | Tuesday Nights | 7pm – 8.15pm
• Newport Vets | Wednesday Nights |  5.45pm – 7pm
• Avalon Vets | Thursday Nights | 5.45pm – 7pm
• Pet-O Mona Vale | Saturdays | 10am – 11.15am
• Northern Districts Vet Narraweena | Saturdays | 2pm -3 .15pm

FAQs

Puppy School runs for 3 consecutive weeks and the cost is $200.  Each class runs for 1 hour 15 mins.

All puppies only need to have their 1st vaccination to join the class.  You will need to provide proof of vaccination in order to attend.

All training areas are puppy safe.
